I seem to have misplaced my extremely large water bottle. Not just the lid, Scott. The entire thing. In the 5-6 am hour, so who knows what happened to it. I am kinda bummed. I found a replacement though, same thing but red. SAAAWWEEETT!!
I got a huge harvest from the garden last night. I need to check the zucchini more often. Every time I check there is a HUGE zook. Dangit. But it forced me to make delicious zook muffins with a very creative frosting. I think I will post that recipe tomorrow. So stay tuned! Lots and lots of lemon cucumbers! I don't know what to do with them all. Check it out!

Who runs out of hangers? We do. All the time. I buy them, and then its like we have a hanger monster and POOF they are gone. Truth is there isn't a monster stealing our hangers. We have a problem. Maybe we should start a SA (shoppers anonymous) program. It's not really that bad, but enough for me to get frustrated when I go to hang up our clothes and there aren't any hangers. We gotta look good doing whatever it is we are doing right?! Right. I am thoroughly enjoying my new gym bag. It's fun, and it kinda makes me feel important.
You know what freaking rocks!? And makes me feel sort of like a BA?
K here goes, I will set you up with the needed info for the story.
WOD for 7/31/12
10 min AMRAP
200M run
12 ground to overhead (95/65) any way
I did this workout rx-ed which is reason #1 this is awesome, reason #2 is that I did 3 rounds plus the 200M run and 6 ground to overhead, which means I was only 6 ground to overheads away from 4 rounds. Holla giiiirrrrl! Reason #3 this was awesome and my most favorite reason is that just about a month ago we did a CF test week. My 1 RM shoulder press was #65. And guess who did it 42 times? THIS GIRL. TOOT TOOOT! Oh and we worked on clean and jerks before that. I tried the split jerk for my first time, got up to 85#. It felt good. Yeahhhhh buddy!
"Rollin' like a big shot, Chevy tuned up like a nascar pit stop!" I was watching MTV music videos this morning. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the stereo system. I wanted to bump that shit. I'm sorry but why in all, I'm sorry again not ALL, but most rap music videos they have girls in bikinis just shaking those big ol' bootys. They aren't very fit. I dunno. Never mind.
So last night was Stu's second CF class, hes hooked. It was also his second consecutive paleo meal. GO STUART!!! I made a big pot of hot jambalaya! (say that with a fun accent, it sounds super cool) Or try out your British accent. That's even funner. "ELLO, ELLO SAUSAGE" hahahaahah. Never gets old. Ever.
K, here it is. And it's nummmmmminnns!
Jambalaya
18-20 Shrimp
2 chicken breasts, cubed
4 andouille sausage, sliced
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 yellow onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced(I used orange cause that's what we had)
1 head cauliflower, rice it up in the good ol' food processor
1 6 oz can organic tomato paste
1 14 oz can organic no salt added diced tomatoes
1 cup organic chicken broth
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste
Put your olive oil in a large pot and throw your chicken, onion, garlic and bell pepper in there. Cook until onion starts turning translucent and chicken is white. Add in your cauli rice, chicken broth and andouille sausage. Sprinkle all your spices on there with the tomato paste and diced tomatoes.
Stir until all incorporated into a beautiful aroma of goodness.
Cover and let cook on low to medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
Put in a bowl and grub up! :))
